The Three Crosses Project

    The Three Crosses

The dream of the Three Crosses Project was inspired in us and the congregation before relocating from our original church birthplace in East Ridge, Tennessee. The decision to rename the church, “The Crossing Church,” reflected the dream of Three Crosses being erected on the new site one day. One can notice on the large stones and glass etchings on campus, the Three Crosses superimposed within the name of our church. We believe it is God’s intention to use these Three Crosses on our church campus to make a bold statement, locally, nationally and internationally, of Christ’s sacrifice and God’s love for all mankind. Jesus said of his crucifixion, “If I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people toward me.” (John 12:32 NCV).

The Three Crosses, standing tall at this location, are to be a daily witness to all who travel Interstate 75 through Southeast Tennessee and those who travel in proximity to our church. We believe the crosses will represent a bold reminder of Jesus’ sacrificial death for our sins. Many may be prompted to stop and personally visit the site for a deeper spiritual experience. They will be able to visit a Prayer Walk that highlights the steps Jesus endured through His sufferings and death. The Prayer Walk stages will ultimately conclude at an empty tomb and the message of His resurrection.

Your sacrificial gift represents one of the most fruitful treasures you will ever store up in heaven and will assist in the completion of this powerful witness of Jesus as the Savior of the world. Thank you for seeking God’s direction for your commitment to this project. God will never ask any more of us than He will enable us to achieve. Faith says, “Because God says it, I believe and obey…”

Thank you for being His instrument to make this dream a reality.
